Creating a ObjectDatabase++ Control File (*.odc)

First select the new database icon (

) or select "New" from the "File" menu or type "Ctrl+N" on the keyboard.

Once the "Save As" dialog box has appeared, type the file name of the new ObjectDatabase++ Control file (*.odc).

Once completed select "Save".

note: ObjectDatabase++ creates two files, firstly the control file contains the information about all the tables within the database and also give a central point of access for transactions. The second file is if logging file (*.odl) that contains the saved transaction details before ObjectDatabase++ edits any of the table files.
note: Once completed, then you are able to create the table files
